The Foxcroft neighborhood of Charlotte, NC is located in the SouthPark area of town. It is one of Charlotte's most desirable subdivisions with its tree lined streets and gentle rolling hills. The streets are set up in pattern that prevents through traffic keeping the streets quiet and an excellent place to walk, run or bike ride. An elaborate 5-mile trail system connects the northern and southern sections of the Foxcroft neighborhood. Architectural style in Foxcroft runs the gamut from stately Georgian, to Tudor, or French Provencial homes. Most lots are at least .5 acres or larger and several of the homes have been completely remodeled and even re-imagined, torn down, and rebuilt to suit more luxurious tastes as the area has prospered.
Foxcroft is just minutes from fantastic shopping at SouthPark Mall and Phillip's Place (the area's finest shopping centers) and only a short drive to Uptown Charlotte. Some of the most highly ranked schools in the system are nearby, namely: Sharon Road Elementary, Alexander Graham Middle, or Myers Park High School. A variety of private schools are convenient to the neighborhood as well. Morrison Regional Library serves the Foxcroft community.
Foxcroft East, which is adjacent to Foxcroft, offers two playgrounds and a Swim & Racquet Club. Membership in the Club is held at no more than 275 families. The facility was remodeled in 2012 and offers a 6-lane swimming pool with diving boards and a slide, a separate splash pool with fountain, and five tennis courts.
